The brand’s latest offering then, marries a confident selection of throwback episodes and a modern nomadic lifestyle; with a nod to older models like the Micro Pacer, Rising Star and Boston Super, the NMD showcases archive appeal in a contemporary context.

Similarly placing what is at heart a technical runner, developed in theory for a sports market, into the lifestyle arena, the NMD boasts an audacious aesthetic of shapes, angles and textures.

Dropping tomorrow (12th December), elsewhere adidas BOOM technology elevates the new style’s midsole while it owes its upper to the adidas Primeknit.
