The labels collaborate on an Urban Outfitters exclusive.

Jamie and Lyndon Cormack’s line of Herschel Supply Co. branded rucksacks have been in demand since the label launched five years ago.

One of the more recent success stories of the luggage market, they’re named after the small Canadian town three generations of their family grew up in, not a Shoreditch laboratory as some might suspect.

For their latest project the pair hooked up with Champion, a brand with some 90 years experience on them, launching a new capsule collection of bags exclusively for Urban Outfitters.

Available from next week, the five bags include both ‘Heritage’ and ‘Sutton’ silhouettes (the former a classic rucksack style, the latter a rounded duffle), with a variety of colourways spread thoughout the collection, sticking to the sports brand’s traditional red, white, navy, black and grey themes.

Other Champion attributes are translated via the soft jersey textures, while each piece is branded with both label’s logos plus a special joint label.

The overwhelming outcome is neat and tidy, a bag you won’t want to leave on the gym floor any longer than you have to.
