As chosen by Sean Brosnan...

I didn’t know Romare’s tracks that came out on Black Arce or at least they hadn’t properly registered with me. Then one day I heard the track ’Roots’ and instantly was thinking ‘Wow’ who is this producer who can get that kind of big sound. I kept digging and it got more exciting. A genuine young talent who I’m sure is only going to grow in 2015 and beyond.

Ashworth is one of those producers who can make a track sound simple when it’s anything but. When you listen closer there’s loads going on in that groove. He makes the kind of melodic House and Techno I love and is actually the engineer behind many current electronic acts, but I think 2015 will be the year he steps out for himself properly as an artist.

Gardens Of God
It’s sometimes hard to find a mature and musical sound in electronic music from new names. So Gardens Of God is refreshing in that he has a rounded feel to every EP and remix he does. It’s the kind of big room house / techno that seems to be popular but somehow retains some soul. I’ve included on of his only remixes on the new Future Disco album. I’m sure he’s destined for a big year at big clubs around the world.

I think I received the first ever demo from HNNY and turned it down! Probably one of my only A&R regrets. Ever since he’s been making really interesting music. If it’s remixes, productions or edits - he’s a music machine and I can’t keep up with the number of records he has out at any one time. That’s usually a bad thing in my book but when every single one is killer - I wish the guy would make something bad just so I can feel better about that early pass.

Andras Fox
Andras Fox is an Australian producer who I really admire for is all round atheistic as well as his music. He obviously takes a lot of influence from the past, but as with all the best artist’s hebrings it up to date and with his own take. His track Your Life is the opener on the new compilation and one of his best in my opinion. He also made a great album with a vocalist called Oscar that was stand out for it’s authentic and soulful sound last year.
