Ahead of their set at Citadel Festival...

Ardyn have always had a soft spot for summer.

A brother-sister duo, the pair honed their love of music on long car journeys, on family holidays at home and abroad.

Recently playing a packed out London show, Ardyn are now set to head out on the road, maintaining a busy festival schedule.

This weekend the pair will be pulling out all the stops at London's Citadel Festival, a laid back and carefully curated event in Victoria Park.

Ahead of their set, Ardyn pieced together a new playlist for Clash...

Summer Moon - 'With You Tonight'

I only heard of this song recently, but I have absolutely rinsed it! The production is so funky and it has definitely become one of my top songs for this summer.

O-Zone - 'Dragostea Din Tea'

How can you not love this absolute classic? It's a real singalong for everyone when we play it in the van!

- - -

Fleetwood Mac - 'Gypsy'

So hazy and beautiful! It immediately makes me think of summer evenings and has to be one of my favourite Fleetwood Mac songs.

- - -

Phoenix - 'If I Ever Feel Better 5V'

This song just has so much groove and is a great walking song, especially in the sweltering heat when you need to keep on going.

The Beatles - 'She Said She Said'

Rob and I have gone to down to Devon since we were wee babies and every year my dad would bring a Beatles album to play. 'Revolver' is my favourite album by the Beatles and 'She Said She Said' always makes me feel nostalgic about Devon summers with my family.

Queens Of The Stone Age - 'I Sat By The Ocean'

This song is just so good, and the guitar riffs just feel very 6pm sitting in the garden with a lager kinda vibes.

- - -

Nick Drake - 'River Man'

This is definitely a song to listen to if you think you have got heatstroke and need to chill.

Citadel Festival takes place on July 16th.
