Including a headline date at London's Scala venue...

With their chiming harmonies and melancholic pangs, Alvvays virtually nailed the indie pop template on their self-titled debut album.

Very much a sleeper success, 'Alvvays' has been propelled via word of mouth and a live show which fuses glistening music with some amusing, self-deprecating banter.

Set to finish a UK tour alongside Real Estate this week, the Canadian band are also due to play a special Transgressive showcase on Thursday (October 30th).

Now Alvvays have confirmed a batch of new UK shows for January. Opening in Manchester, the group will play Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow and more.

Hitting London on January 28th, tickets go on sale from 9am on Wednesday (October 29th).

Here's the video for new single 'Next Of Kin'.

Alvvays have confirmed the following shows:

21 Manchester Deaf Institute
22 Leeds Brudenell Social Club
23 Newcastle Think Tank
24 Glasgow King Tuts
26 Nottingham The Bodega
27 Birmingham Hare & Hounds
28 London Scala
30 Oxford O2 Academy 2
31 Bristol Thekla
