Supported by Tame Impala and more...
Arctic Monkeys

Great news for fans of big gigs: Arctic Monkeys have announced details of two headline shows at London's Finsbury Park.

The Sheffield-spawned act - whose most-recent LP, 'AM', was an instant hit with both critics and consumers alike (read the Clash review here), going straight to number one on its September release - call at the north London park on May 23rd and 24th (2014, obviously). Tickets are priced at £55, and go on sale on November 22nd via all of your usual outlets. The gigs are strictly 16+ affairs - presumably because of the constant threat of public nudity in that part of London.

Support at the shows comes from Tame Impala, Miles Kane and relative newcomers Royal Blood

Looks like a laugh. Just hope that it doesn't rain. Nothing worse than Finsbury Park in the rain. Still, you could always duck into the Fullback. Silver linings and everything.

The Monkeys' official website is here, for more information and that.
