It really, really could happen...
'Magic Whip'

Well, it had to happen some time.

When Blur played a post-Olympic celebration in 2012 the band insisted that future shows were not out of the question.

Rumours have swirled ever since, with speculation reaching fever pitch today. Hosting an online Q&A session with Zane Lowe, Blur confirmed that they are set to play a headline show at British Summer Time Hyde Park on June 20th.

Tickets go on sale from 9am next Friday (February 27th). Oh, and as if that wasn't enough...

Blur have also confirmed plans for a new album. Titled 'The Magic Whip' it goes on release from April 27th and is the band's first full length since 2003's 'Think Tank'.
