Queens Of The Stone Age are set to shatter some windows...
Queens Of The Stone Age

Neils Children @ The Shacklewell Arms, London, Monday 10th June

Dark, dingey, deliciously bleary... are we talking about Neils Children or the venue? Even we’re not sure. This band and pub coupling is a match made in Dalston. Following the release of their aptly named album ‘Dimly Lit’, Neils Children take to The Shacklewell Arms, and are sure to pick up a few new followers along the way.

Danny Brown @ Scala, London, Tuesday 11th June

Danny Brown is touring his ass off in the run up to the release of his next album, ‘OLD’, and he’s making sure here in the UK we get a fair slice of the action. Starting of at London’s Scala, Brown will also be hitting Brighton, Bristol and Birmingham for shows which are sure to be energetic, explicit and packed full of critically acclaimed hits, like so...

Queens Of The Stone Age @ Rough Trade East, London, Tuesday 11th June

This week, rock giants Queens Of The Stone Age are scaling down their arena-sized show and squeezing it into a record store on Brick Lane. This mindboggling gig takes place at Rough Trade East, and we’re a little bit worried the noise might shatter some windows. ‘My God Is The Sun’, the first single from their new album ‘...Like Clockwork’, has already settled nicely into QOTSA’s back catalogue, quickly becoming another in a list of stonking hits.

Chic feat. Nile Rodgers @ The Forum, London, Friday 14th

Nile Rodgers just won’t stop - and thank god for that. Playing festivals as big as Glastonbury and Bestival, down to more intimate occasions like GuilFest and Kew The Music, you’ve really no excuse for missing Chic feat. Nile Rodgers this summer. These disco veterans are playing at The Forum this week, and lucky ticket holders can expect a night packed full of hits from Chic, plus Nile’s many, many side projects.

Big Deal @ The Louisiana, Bristol, Sunday 16th June

Rounding off the week with some gritty Sunday evening vibes, Big Deal play Bristol’s Louisiana. Since the release of ‘Lights Out’ back in 2011 Big Deal have been steadily on the up, and now their second album, ‘June Gloom’, is out for all to hear, this momentum is sure to increase. The sun is finally in the sky, and June is anything but gloomy, but Big Deal are sticking to their guns and taking the ‘June Gloom’ tour all over the UK.
