CLASH Live In Association With Zig-Zag

UK rapper Dave is set to step back from headline shows in 2018 while he focusses on his album.

The rising talent revealed his intentions to a packed crowd at a sold out show in London's KOKO, the second of two dates at the historic venue.

The set leaned on material from recent EP 'Game Over', featuring some wonderfully direct moments that sent the capacity crowd wild.

It's remarkable to watch such an impassioned audience soak up eight minute rap tracks, but that's exactly what happens when Dave performs his politicised treatise 'Question Time'.

'How I Met My Ex' is a touching, nakedly emotional tale of failing in a relationship, with Dave taking time out after the song as emotions rose to fever pitch.

MoStack makes an appearance on 'No Words', while support - and close friend of the headliner - Avelino also completed a guest slot.

Another marked from a talent in transition, the sheer force and impact of this KOKO show left fans wondering just how high Dave could rise, just far he could take this.

Revealing that there are no plans to play a headline London show in 2018 - in order to focus on his debut full length, he tells us - each moment of the show becomes precious, something to savour.

Dave seems to be making history each day - where he goes next is up to him.
