After a long - much too long - time, we feel able to say: it's festival season.
The weekend just passed was perhaps the busiest for live music across the UK in 18 months, with major events blending safety restrictions with emphatic line ups.
Clash photographer Danny Payne packed his kit and travelled to Tramlines, where the rejuvenated festival welcomed thousands upon thousands of fans.
Across the weekend he caught mighty acts such as The Streets, Royal Blood, and Dizzee Rascal, alongside newcomers such as Holly Humberstone and Billy Nomates.
