AW 2011 show

PPQ always lures the young, cool fashion crowd and an abundance of musicians; Paloma Faith, Jo Wood and Corrine Bailey Rae all sat front row. The paparazzi were out in force, mobbing celebs on the catwalk - this pre show entertainment definitely creates an excitable atmosphere.

Models soon prowled out in feline head pieces to the sounds of pumping hip hop, Ludacris and Nicki Minaj. It was sexy, powerful and sophisticated. Hem lines were high, teamed with flamboyant ruffled blouses. There was emphasis on the shoulders which meant silhouttes were bold and the jewellery was over sized; square chunky bangles and gold necklaces .

Hair was plaited immaculately, tied either side of the head with two black ribbons. The look was severe yet seductive and it's juxtaposition of crunking hiphop gave the regal Jacobean affair a playful modern twist.
