'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High' gets re-worked
Arctic Monkeys

Arctic Monkeys have shared an acoustic version of 'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High'.

Arctic Monkeys are changing. Sure, new album 'AM' was packed with sage social observation, the type of wit which Morrissey has long laid claim to being his own. Yet there was a darkness, a sense of the adult which was startlingly new.

Refining, honing their craft, the band might - just whisper it - have released their finest album to date. Kicking off a full UK tour, Arctic Monkeys decided to share a new acoustic clip.

A true highlight from their recent full length, 'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High' analyses a debauched, de-based relationship. Recorded in a stripped down fashion, Alex Turner & Co. get right to the heart of the track.

Watch it below.

25 London Earls Court
28 Liverpool Echo Arena
