New York songwriter Arsun needs everything to be in its right place.
Building his own studio, the artist ransacked auction sales, picking up old equipment wherever they could be found.
Aiming for that 1960s feel nothing but the most authentic would do, allowing him to pursue a singular sound.
New EP 'Send Her My Way' is born from these sessions, a three track introduction to the singular realm of Arsun.
The title track is the latest to be shared, a gorgeous, gilded, slightly pastoral piece of songwriting that focusses on overheard memories of lost love.
He comments: "'Send Her My Way' is about a man talking to a stranger about a lost love in a sort of a deluded way, combining two images of a drunken guy rambling to a stranger on the street, with this almost kingly feeling of leading broken horses down fourth street..."
