Axl Rose is set to sing with AC/DC on a number of upcoming tour dates.
The Australian rockers lost frontman Brian Johnson earlier this year, with doctors warning that further touring could seriously damage the singer's health.
Speculation placed the Guns N' Roses singer as favourite to fulfil the role, with AC/DC confirming the news in a statement at the weekend:
"We are dedicated to fulfilling the remainder of our touring commitments to everyone that has supported us over the years, and are fortunate that Axl Rose has kindly offered his support to help us fulfill this commitment.”
Toasting the partnership, AC/DC guitarist Angus Young played onstage with Guns N' Roses during their spectacular Coachella performance at the weekend.
