Stockport band work on Album No. 2

Blossoms want to work with Taylor Swift on their second album.

The band rocketed to number one with their self-titled debut album last year, closing 2016 with a flurry of epic shows.

Set to push ahead in the coming 12 months, Blossoms have already begun sketching out plans for new material.

Speaking to the Daily Star, they even suggested that Taylor Swift would be more than welcome as a potential collaborator.

Frontman Tom Ogden said: "I already have little song ideas where I think it would sound good as a call and response with a female singer," he said. "But I'm sure Taylor Swift is not up for it. Maybe you could put in a word for us."

Elsewhere, the singer was coy on the possibility of a Glastonbury slot, saying: "Maybe Michael Eavis has been on the phone. Maybe he hasn't. I don't know. But fingers crossed - we'd love to do it."
