Inspired by the culture that surrounded jungle...

Chase & Status launched their new fashion project Super Sharp Reloaded in London's Selfridges last night (August 9th).

The production duo have always been open about their fascination with the explosive energy of jungle, frequently referencing it in their music.

New project Super Sharp Reloaded finds Chase & Status taking a broader view, looking at the culture that surrounded the music.

Taking those street fashion influences and re-tooling them for a 2018 outlook, Super Sharp Reloaded mirrors a time when "the queue was the catwalk".

Saul Milton explains: “Now is time to look forward to the future - we want to create and spearhead a new cultural movement.”

Tory Turk adds: “The 90s designer label trend was all about wearing your wealth, showing other people how much money you had. In times of economic insecurity, the wearing of flashy designer labels is a rebellious statement.”

Super Sharp Reloaded remains open at Selfridges until September 6th - partnered with Reebok, drinks for the launch came from Havana Club while tunes came from Bailey.
