War of words deepens...
Wu-Tang Clan

A sprawling mesh of individuals, for sure, but the Wu-Tang Clan is only truly the Wu-Tang Clan is all members are involved.

Much delayed new album 'A Better Tomorrow' could push that truism to the limits. RZA has been steering sessions, which are rapidly approaching completion.

Raekwon, though, has been rather unenthusiastic. A war of words in the press has broken out between the two members, with RZA now stating that 'A Better Tomorrow' could be released without Raekwon's assistance.

Speaking to SI Now, RZA said: "The album is slated to come out in July... If we don’t come to terms within the next 30 days, then this will be an album without Raekwon or the album that will not see the light of day."

On a positive note: RZA finishes by saying his "gut feeling" is that Raekwon will return to support the album.
