One Man Went To Mow

One man rockabilly sensation Ben Nicholls AKA Dennis Hopper Choppers tours this month to promote his debut long-player, the aptly titled “Chop”. After garnering radio play the self released album is a cult-hit in waiting, a full band boiled down to one bloke.

By sheer coincidence (or not) Dennis Hopper Choppers will also be starring in a new documentary entitled “One Man In The Band”. Directed by acclaimed film-maker Adam Clitheroe, it is a feature-length exploration of modern one-man-bands, no doubt centring on the dangers of having a huge bass drum perched on your back. “One Man In The Band” premieres on November 30th.

Dennis Hopper Choppers rampage through the following towns and cities:

November 4th – The Amersham Arms, New Cross
November 6th – Rough Trade, East Store
November 15th – Bardens Boudoir, Stoke Newington
November 29th – Borderline, London
November 30th – International Documentary Festival, Amsterdam
