Lewis Capaldi had a pretty busy weekend.
Releasing a brand new EP on Friday - September 27th - he then popped past the Strictly Come Dancing results show on Sunday (September 29th).
Performing his emotional torch song 'Someone You Loved' live on television, it was one of the biggest moments of his career so far.
A tender performance, the touching moment was ruined somewhat by the audience reaction, who screeched and cheered throughout.
Some fans were less than pleased.
Absolutely love Lewis Capaldi but do the audience really need to cheer and clap throughout his performance? Sure the dancers are impressive but its his performance, you can cheer and clap at the end for the dancers along with doing it for Lewis#Strictly #Strictly2019 pic.twitter.com/k7dQ62M8LT— Kez ECUK ~ I MISS EVERYONE (@mason_kez) September 29, 2019
Not that Lewis allowed this to spoil his night.
I was sweating just watching them dance https://t.co/ihp1XeX8fc— Chewis Capaldi (@LewisCapaldi) September 29, 2019
