Founded 12 years ago, Hotfush is one of Europe’s most vital electronic imprints.
Across a series of compilations, the label plans to plot its history – unveiling rare and unheard nuggets in the process.
New instalment ‘Scuba Presents Hotflush Vol. 2: Dub Pressure (2005-2008)’ drops on January 22nd, and focuses on the label’s dubstep phase.
Founder Scuba took the sound to Berlin nightspot Berghain, helping to expand the so-called ‘techno dread’ sound in the process. The compilation is much wider than that, though, featuring cuts from Benga & Walsh, Search & Destroy, Marlow and of course Scuba himself.
Check out a mega-mix featuring each of the compilation’s tracks below.
