A. G. Cook is on production...

Jónsi and Robyn have shared their stellar new collaboration 'Salt Licorice'.

The track appears on the new Jónsi album 'Shiver', which will be released on October 2nd.

It's a daring return from the Sigur Ros vocalist, who moves his songwriting into striking new spheres, with the aid of a number of key collaborators.

PC Music lynchpin A. G. Cook produces 'Salt Licorice', and it's kind of a fusion between ballroom house, glitchy 8-Bit electronics, and ultra-glossy pop.

There's a fine balance between Jónsi and Robyn, and this relationship pushes 'Salt Licorice' up into the stratosphere.

Robyn comments...

“‘Salt Licorice’ is such a cute and perfect pop song. It makes me want to dance violently and make out at the same time. It was a no-brainer to say yes to singing it with Jónsi. The pretty emails I get with a thousand emojis in them from him is a bonus that came with our collaboration as well!”

Tune in now.
