Queens Of The Stone Age singer in onstage rant...
Queens Of The Stone Age

Josh Homme isn't a person to be trifled with.

The singer is renowned for protecting the stage himself, continually looking out for both band and crowd.

During a show in Texas earlier this week, the frontman took aim at the Grammy awards. Queens Of The Stone Age were nominated for 'Best Rock Performance' this year, but controversially lost out to Imagine Dragons.

Introducing 'I Appear Missing' Homme joked: "this next song is by Imagine Dragons."

After booing from the crowd, the singer said: "Fuck everything. Fuck the man. Fuck Imagine Dragons and fuck the Grammys."

Queens Of The Stone Age, of course, took part in the ill-fated final jam. Playing alongside Dave Grohl, Lindsey Buckingham and more, the performance was cut to make way for an ad break.

Speaking on Twitter, Trent Reznor (who also took part in the jam) said: "Music's biggest night... to be disrespected. A heartfelt FUCK YOU guys."

Who'd be a Grammy organiser, eh?
