The Last Shadow Puppets have reportedly completed work on their eagerly awaited second album.
The project is helmed by Alex Turner and Miles Kane, releasing their lauded debut album The Age Of The Understatement' back in 2008.
Speculation has dogged the duo ever since, but producer James Ford seems to have confirmed that sessions for their second album have "finished".
NME reports that the producer recently spoke to Chilean music site Rock & Pop, stating: "This year, I’ve just done a Last Shadow Puppets record, which is the guy from Arctic Monkeys and Miles. So we did the follow-up album to that. That’s the last thing I did."
James Ford then indicates that the work has finished, before adding it will "be out next year sometime".
Exciting times, although Clash should point out that has yet to be officially confirmed by either party.
