Manic Street Preachers have teased the wider release of a film documenting their 20th anniversary tour of 'The Holy Bible'.
Initially released in 1994 the album remains an intense, addictive, probing, and mysterious beast, arguably one of the band's most complete statements.
Heading back out on the road in 2014, the Welsh group paid homage to the work with a series of visceral, cathartic live shows.
'The Holy Bible' remains a searing beast, with close friends and regular collaborator Kieran Evans recruited to work on a full length video project.
Concert film Be Pure Be Vigilant Behave was given its premiere at Cardiff based SWN Festival in 2016, with the director now teasing a wider release:
More on this as it gets confirmed...
Director Kieran Evans has been in touch on Twitter - this will be a 'director's cut', one that nobody has seen before.
Just so you know....— Kieran Evans (@kierboyo) October 14, 2019
This is my “Directors Cut” version of the film and has never been seen before. It’s quite different to the one screened at Swn which was a rough cut / work in progress...
All will be revealed soon.
We're looking forward to this one!
