Metronomy have shared the cute clip for their new song 'Walking In The Dark' - tune in now.
The band's new album 'Metronomy Forever' lands on September 13th, and it follows some specular festival dates.
Set to play a full UK tour this Autumn, Metronomy sold out London's Roundhouse within minutes, adding a second show on November 7th.
New song 'Walking In The Dark' leads the way, a cute piece of synth-addled pop delivered with typical intelligence and aplomb.
As ever, Joe Mount matches those cerebral flourishes to some gorgeous melodies, while the playful video features some cool animation from Clara Bacou.
The frontman explains:
“The ‘Walking In The Dark’ video is the age old tale of the guru and the fisherman set against a green screen backdrop. Clara is someone I became aware of through a collaboration between ourselves and Central St Martins college in London a few years ago.”
“Her style is completely unique and something I was desperate to make part of the video. The song is one of my favourites from the new record and gives a wonderful taste of how eclectic the album is.”
Tune in now.
'Metronomy Forever' will be released on September 13th.
