'Like Stone' gets pushed towards the outer limits...

Matt Berry's dual role as actor and musician has resulted in some fantastic projects.

A songwriter who works from a very pure love of music, he's capable of moving from Dylan-esque Nashville homages through to mind-expanding psychedelia.

Recent LP 'The Blue Elephant' is out now, with Matt Berry playing virtually every instrument on his lysergic opus.

Informed by mid to late 60s psych, 'The Blue Elephant' featured some of his most fascinating sonic tapestries, constantly turning inwards and outwards.

San Francisco pairing Moon Duo are clearly fans of his work, and they've stepped in to remix album cut 'Like Stone'.

Transporting Matt Berry's vocals to interstellar landscapes, they add analogue synths while stripping back his psychedelic palette.

Retaining the choppy guitar lines, 'Like Stone' becomes something more surreal, more distorted - like one of Dali's melting clocks, oozing out of your speakers.
