Yes, really...

Morrissey has performed a short set at the Nobel Peace Prize concert.

Morrissey could start an argument in an empty room. Currently operating without label support, the iconic singer has nonetheless managed to dominate headlines over the past 12 months with a series of barbed quips.

Yet Morrissey still obviously has friends in high places. The organisers of this year's Nobel Peace Prize concert invited Morrissey to perform at the ceremony, and the singer responded with a three song set.

Opening with current concert favourite 'People Are The Same Everywhere', Morrissey then plunges into his cover of Lou Reed's 'Satellite Of Love' - a previous recording of which was given a full single release via Parlophone.

Finishing with 'Irish Blood, English Heart' you can watch the short set below.
