Electronic music is often dominated by towering monoliths, by concrete genre rules – house rules the roost, for example.
But for their new collaboration, Mumdance and Logos have decided to focus on periods of flux. Taking their inspiration from the early bleep era, the ’93 darkcore period and the emergence of drum ‘n’ bass, the two are eager to explore areas of distinct possibility.
New album ‘Proto’ is the result. Dropping on February 16th via Tectonic, it’s a direct return from the duo. Famed for exploring the so-called ‘weightless’ sound, this is a club ready collection which is unafraid to go deep.
Sadly we can’t bring you audio, but Clash has already heard the album and it’s very, very exciting.
‘Proto’ will be released on February 16th. Tracklisting:
1. Border Drone
2. Dance Energy (89 Mix)
3. Chaos Engine
5. Hall Of Mirrors
8. Room 2 Lazer
9. Move Your Body
