“Did you see what I done? Came in a black Benz, left in a white one."

One of the most exciting young representatives for UK music; J Hus is in a lane of his own.

The 21-year-old Stratford, East London native has infused his music with the sounds and lingo that he grew up around.

His quest for originality sees him establishing trends rather than following, with irresitably catchy songs that borrow from a variety of genres including UK rap, grime and afrobeats.

On the day of CLASH's Spring Party, Hus gave us the honour of accompanying him, as he delivered his manifesto from the back seat of a Mercedes Benz, culminating in a surprise set that saw him perform 'Did You See' live in London for the very first time.

HUS wants to be known as a legend, a creator and the pioneer of his own genre. He wants to be the best.
