A new exhibition dedicated to the creativity of Nick Cave has been announced.
Stranger Than Kindness: The Nick Cave Exhibition will take place at The Black Diamond, Copenhagen next year, running between March 23rd and October 3rd.
Supported by main sponsor Gucci and the Danish foundation Beckett-Fonden, the exhibition matches large scale installations against original atmospheric soundscapes specially recorded by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.
In all, Stranger Than Kindness will utilise more than 300 objects from Cave’s own collection, the collections of Royal Danish Library and a number of private lenders.
Ambitious in its scope, the exhibition covers more than 50 years in the artist's life, and its multi-sensory trail spans eight rooms with original artwork, handwritten lyrics, literature, photography, videos, set designs, and collected personal artefacts.
