It's a story of "casual intimacy..."

Leeds four-piece Noya Rao return with new single 'Pina'.

The group's DIY ethos is shot through with rugged individuality, allowing each element to find its own unique place in their music.

Constructing spartan sonic sculptures, Noya Rao craft dreamy electronic soul, somewhere in between Solange, say, and their underground peers.

New single 'Pina' is a real slow-burner, an amorous ode to hook ups, that leaves many key questions tantalisingly unanswered.

Taken from their forthcoming EP 'Stay', it's a sumptuous aural treat, one that gently overwhelms you.

Noya Rao comment...

“The song is a story of casual intimacy - it follows the events of a night unfolding, a frivolous hook-up and the unanswered questions about the lover they have spent the night with. In an age of fast love and casual hook ups, it’s a story most of us have to tell.”
