Reggae hero steps out into the limelight...
'Dawn Of The Dread'

Jamaican music has a fixation with rhythm.

Sure, the island has a famed love of bass, but this would be nothing without percussion, without that groove to make you move.

Horseman - real name Winston Williams - is a lauded drummer, having performed with everyone from Tippa Irie to Eeka Mouse, Jah Shaka to Hollie Cook.

Stepping out on his own, Horseman has completed work on his debut album 'Dawn Of The Dread'. It's a seismic slab of bass construction, with plenty of those trademark riddims to keep your hips grinding.

Splitting sessions between Brighton and Thailand, Horseman was assisted throughout by UK producer Prince Fatty.

Clash is able to premiere new cut 'The Yout' and it's an absolute banger. Unrelenting reggae vibes, with Tippa Irie stopping past on guest vocals.

'The Yout' has a bass-led swagger, roots in classic reggae but with a view to accepting new, more modern ideas.
