Juhani Marjanen is a bit of a renaissance man.
Based in Finland, the emerging artist spends part of his year picking berries, part of it as a drummer in his resident Helsinki and part of it as a member of skweee super group Yöt.
Oh, and he's also an electronic producer in his own right. Utilising the name Lavender Worm, his woozy, impossible to place tracks have gradually been gathering a strong reputation of their own.
Debut EP 'Synchronised Swimming' will emerge on December 8th, with the material having been produced in between shifts on a berry farm.
Clash is able to premiere the title cut, an oddball piece of electro pop which refuses to be pigeonholed. Superbly imaginative, it's an intriguing first step.
