With his vision of a wounded America, Max Jury seems to have found a kindred spirit in Lana Del Rey. Clearly transfixed by her fusion of classic glamour and moody melancholia, the singer has decided to cover recent single 'West Coast'.
It's an intriguing cover. Removed the lush orchestration, Max Jury honed in on the lyrics, on its tale of being transfixed by the glamour of the West Coast: "Down on the West Coast they got a sayin' - "if you're not drinkin' then you're not playin'..."
