Folk-flecked songwriting that cuts a little deeper...
William The Conqueror

Ruarri Joseph had the world at his feet.

The songwriter was enjoying online success, press acclaim, and major label interest when he simply stopped.

Right there, right then. Taking a step back, he decided to focus once more on the music that really, truly captured his heart, plunging into a fresh, independently-minded project.

William The Conqueror is the result. Folk-flecked songwriting with a warm, emotive appeal, the project plays London venue the Social on August 2nd.

As a preview, Clash is able to premiere new cut 'Pedestals' and it's a wonderfully downcast, pleasingly humble introduction.

Finding beauty in the everyday, William The Conqueror matches the mundane to the magical - tune in below.
