Prophets Of Rage will disband, it has been confirmed.
The project united members of Cypress Hill with Public Enemy's Chuck D and Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, taking their formidable line up across the globe.
Politically motivated rap-rock for the masses, Prophets Of Rage have decided to step to one side, allowing Tom Morello to re-join the reunited Rage Against The Machine.
The news was confirmed in statements from Cypress Hill’s B-Real and Public Enemy’s Chuck D.
B-Real said: "It was fun while it lasted and I hope we left a big impression and that the music has been a source of inspiration for those that needed it. That was the purpose we got together."
Chuck D added: "It was about doing something greater than self."
