Alongside a batch of Spring 2022 tour dates...

PUP return with new songs 'Waiting' and 'Kill Something'.

The band's first new songs in 2021, it follows the breakout success of their 2019 album 'Morbid Stuff'.

PUP are set to hit the road in the New Year, playing a flurry of Canadian dates in February 2022 before hitting the United States.

Produced by Peter Katis, 'Waiting' and 'Kill Something' are focussed, intense return.

'Waiting' is PUP at their heaviest, and features fellow Canadian punk artist Kathryn McCaughey of NOBRO.

The band's Stefan explains...

“‘Waiting’ came about by smashing the heaviest riff Nestor could write with the simplest, most uplifting chorus I could write, just to see what would happen. The results were very quintessentially PUP, in that the song is a flurry of darkness and anger through the joyous lens of four guys just happy to be here, four guys who don’t take themselves seriously enough to make music that doesn’t feel like fun, regardless of the subject matter.”

'Kill Something' meanwhile is actually about Stefan's dog, Moose - who just wants to rip things up, and then feels sad after they've managed to destroy some prized possessions.
