Snow Coats are part of the Dutch indie rock goldrush, a wave of bands making their mark internationally.
Coy, cute pop songs expressed in an indie rock template, their melodic guitar-driven songwriting is astute, humorous, and kinda addictive.
New EP 'Pool Girl' lands on September 11th, while their debut album was lauded in their homeland.
Out now, the EP's title track is a gorgeous listen, a frisky, heady indie rock jammer with a superb chorus.
Completely addictive, it comes equipped with a simple yet neat video, one that features vocalist Anouk Van Der Kamp surfing the Dutch suburbs on her favourite inflatable donut.
She comments: “'Pool Girl' is a song about how I reflect on myself. Some silly things and some more serious. Like my anxieties and how I can panic over the smallest things. I hope that there are people who can relate to my lyrics.”
