It taps into their Byrds roots...

Teenage Fanclub have shared their new song 'The Sun Won't Shine On Me'.

The Scottish indie pop evergreens will release new album 'Endless Arcade' on April 30th, with a short UK tour scheduled to follow in September.

New song 'The Sun Won't Shine On Me' is a tender Norman Blake moment, and it's gentle jangle pop strum taps into those formative Byrds influences.

Composed in waltz time, it matches sonic beauty to a real sense of yearning, something Teenage Fanclub do so well.

A wistful, dewy-eyed composition, Norman Blake says of his creation: “This is something of a rarity for Teenage Fanclub - a song in waltz time!”

Donald Milne crafts the video - tune in now.
