When superstar groups collide...

The 1975 released their new single 'Me And You Together Song' last week, returning to their roots for a striking piece of lovelorn pop simplicity.

One group weren't so keen - the artwork seemingly appeared to be familiar to a previous Maroon 5 release, prompting a barbed tweet from their official account.

Matty Healy quickly picked up on it, and threw some almighty shade in Maroon 5's direction:

The result? Maroon 5 deleted the tweet. Guess that's one nil to The 1975, then...
