Philadelphia band break their silence...
The Districts

The Districts have shared new cut 'Ordinary Day' - tune in now.

The Philadelphia band impressed with debut album 'A Flourish And A Spoil' in 2015, and recently attempted to focus on fresh material.

It was a turbulent time for the group, but instead of allowing themselves to be overpowered The Districts allowed this to fuel their creativity.

New cut 'Ordinary Day' is online now, and beneath its fizzing energy are some complex emotions. The band’s Robby Grote comments:

"'Ordinary Day' deals with a sort of personal alienation and the realization that you and the world you've existed in have changed. Sort of the feeling of coming through a tunnel and having no way of relating to things in the same way as before. It was written in late summer/early fall and came together quite naturally... Personal lives were in flux and we were sitting around Philly losing our minds."

Tune in now.
