With Beck, Future Islands in support...
The Strokes

The Strokes are to end the five year wait by London fans for a headline show this summer.

The band have confirmed their involvement with Barclaycard British Summer Time in Hyde Park, with the New Yorkers set to headline on June 18th.

The support looks intriguing, with Beck and Future Islands also due to take part. The full line up includes Public Service Broadcasting, Temples, The Wytches, Hinds, Gengahr, Yak and Kieran Leonard, with more surprises to be announced shortly.

Other headliners for Barclaycard British Summer Time this year include Blur, Kylie Minogue, The Who and Taylor Swift.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow (March 3rd) at 9am. General sale opens at 9am this Friday (March 6th).

The Strokes are due to play British Summer Time on June 18th.
