A producer who likes to experiment with new sounds, Chaz Bundick has spent time devoting himself to his more house/disco flavoured Les Sins project.
Now, though, the South Carolina artist is due to return to his favoured Toro Y Moi moniker. New album ‘What For?’ is due to be released in April via Carpark Records, with the producer placing a sample cut online.
An oddball slice of pop funk, ‘Empty Nesters’ opens with some Red Hot Chili Peppers style lead guitar before heading into a Sly & The Family Stone inspired work with plenty of antique synth squelches, to boot.
