'The Patriot'

Sometimes you just need a bit of rock in your life.

Sure, it's hardly the newest genre on the block, but done right it can touch parts other genres, other sounds fail to reach.

Haggard Cat blazed into West London's Metropolis Studios last year, vowing to turn their amps up to 11 and give the audience everything.

Part of our Clash Live series, Haggard Cat match the technical abilities of metal against the fury of hardcore, while also broadening their sound a little.

'The Patriot' was a head-banging highlight, a scorching tribute to rock's undying power to entertain and the sheer roughneck bravado that Haggard Cat encompass.

Captured in pristine audio by one of London's best studios, this recording uses Lewitt microphones to really pick out the finer details.

Tune in now.
