'miss u now'

Troi Irons has always sought to turn limitations to her advantage.

A profoundly independent voice, her future-pop template is rooted in DIY ethics, something she'll never give up.

New single 'miss u now' is her latest project, and it finds the multi-hyphenated artist moving into a fresh chapter.

A raw sound matched to some emphatic songwriting, 'miss u now' further blurs the line between indie and pop, while remaining in her own lane.

A real showcase for her powerful vocals, 'miss u now' emerged into a world blighted by lockdown, with each person trapped in their own bubble.

Troi Irons flips this on its head for the video, taking the reins to steer the clip from her parent's house.

She says:

"When it became apparent that I wouldn't be able to shoot with a crew, I downloaded Premiere Pro, bought a VHS cam, and rented a Panasonic GH5S. I gave myself a crash course in editing/filmography and built a set in my parent's living room. Only a couple weeks prior, I started staying with them because I couldn't handle the pandemic-anxiety in my one bedroom apartment."

"I'm glad I made that move because this video would have been entirely impossible without my family's help."
