Dublin's milk. have that immediate touch.
The band's new EP '1' drops on June 19th, pitting subdued R&B textures against soaring electro pop, working in a highly creative, unconstrained fashion.
Moving between aspects of serenity and elements of poised emotion, milk. filter this through some euphoric, anthemic songwriting.
The EP is led by new single 'Treat Me', a piece of crunching indie songwriting wrapped in some 2k20 pop plasticity.
Driven by that beaming guitar line, it's a song about young love. Vocalist Mark McKenna explains:
"'Treat Me' is about being in a young relationship with both people not really knowing what they’re doing or how to be in a relationship, unknowingly treating each other unfairly and unfairly asking each other 'why you would do that?' When you both know neither have the answer but you hope the other does."
