U.S. Girls has shared brand new holiday song 'Santa Stay Home'.
Meg Remy's project returns with a mid-winter thrill, a decidedly unfestive take on the Christmas song.
'Santa Stay Home' is out now, penned by U.S. Girls alongside special guest Rich Morel.
A chilly take on the festive period, it's a plea for Santa to sit this one out, and help calm the wild waters of rampant commercialism.
It's all set to a danceable beat, though, with Meg singing: “While landfills overflow around the globe, you sit up there in your red judge robe / This charade has got to end / Mr. White Christmas, this is what I recommend...”
Remy comments: “When one stops to really think about it, Santa is creepy and Christmas makes no damn sense...”
