New Zealand group The Beths delivered one of last year's finest indie records, a guitar pop masterpiece that still thrills.
'Future Me Hates Me' is on regular rotation in the Clash office, with the band recently making the long journey back to Europe.
Playing London venue the Dome last week, the group will return to the UK this summer, announcing their biggest British headline shows yet.
The first London show of the Future Me Hates Me tour was at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, with Bird On The Wire hitting them up backstage.
Singer/guitarist Elizabeth Stokes performed two songs for Bird On The Wire TV, a neat stripped back video featuring two special songs.
Breezing through 'Future Me Hates Me' she then plays a coy, tender version of 'Make Time 4 Love' by Australian group The Goon Sax.
A wonderful moment, you can tune in below.
The Beths will play London's Heaven on August 28th - grab a ticket HERE.
