I Heart Sharks

A wall of noise, that's I Heart Sharks.

Each track overwhelms, the onward rush of melody spilling out of the speakers and into every pore.

The self-funded, self-released debut album 'Summer' won a cult following, sparking a major label rush for their signature. In the end, Island snapped up the group with forthcoming EP 'To Be Young' the first fruit of this relationship.

Out next month, it's a glorious return from I Heart Sharks. A concise, precise introduction to their music, it demonstrates a new group who are unafraid to take chance.

Opening with lush, almost ambient textures, 'Headlines' quickly turns into something with rather more gravitas. The martial drums rattle underneath a vocal which echoes the shrieking sensuality of Prince before giving away to an arena sized chorus.
