Kiss Me Quickly (It's Christmas)

Oh Christmas - so much to answer for...

All that commercial tat, all that exploitation. All those middle ages mum hunched over the stove while Dad is busy grabbing the Scalectrix controller for another chance at becoming the front room's answer to Michael Schumacher.

At least this year you'll be able to do it with a fantastic soundtrack. From now (December 17th aka today) until the day itself ClashMusic will be presenting a series of tracks which will build up into the definitive seasonal soundtrack for 2012. Expect plenty of curveballs, some new material, some old favourites alongside lots and lots of sleigh bells...

First up: PINS. ClashMusic have been fans of the Manchester four piece since the band first slammed a copy of their debut 'Eleventh Hour' cassette into our palms, and we've been tracking their progress across 2012. One of the year's most tantalising newcomers, PINS have plenty of reasons to toast the festive season.

All twanging guitars, Phil Spector drums and effortlessly seductive vocals 'Kiss Me Quickly (It's Christmas)' boasts sleigh bells and some hopelessly romantic stop-start rhythms. Something you'll want to unwrap over and over again, you can stream 'Kiss Me Quickly (It's Christmas)' for nowt in yonder embed.
